Moody is designed with your privacy as a top priority. We believe your mental health data is deeply personal and should stay that way.
All your mood data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. Your data never leaves your phone. We do not operate any servers or cloud services that collect your information.
Moody does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data, health data, analytics, or usage information. We have no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, and no third-party services integrated into the app.
Moody does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. The app works entirely offline.
If you enable daily reminders, notification scheduling is handled entirely on your device using Apple's local notification system. No notification data is sent to any external service.
When you choose to export your data as CSV or PDF, the files are generated on your device and shared only through the destination you choose (e.g., email, Files app). We never see or access your exported data.
You can delete the app at any time to permanently remove all stored data. Since no data is stored externally, deleting the app completely erases all your information.
Moody is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected in the app. Since we collect no data, changes would only relate to new features and their privacy implications.
